Today, all industry is buzzing about the arrival of 5G, which is expected between 2018 and 2020. This next generation network holds enormous promise, including smart cities, driverless cars, healthcare services and the "Internet of Things (IoT)" revolution… The deployment of 5G will radically change wireless technology and the tests associated with it. This seminar will provide an overview of 5G development, standardization progress, applications and a view of the MVG testing solutions for 5G and millimeter waves.

The IoT has recently gained increasingly more momentum across all industries. This seminar will give an overview of the major challenges and testing solutions involved in IoT product creation based on integration of antenna solutions in IoT devices (NB-IoT, LTE-M, Bluetooth 5, Zigbee etc).

Last but not least, a comprehensive presentation of various test cases, applications (autonomous car...) and technologies (C2X such as C-V2X, 802.11p...) in automotive testing will be given by the MVG technical team and our invited speakers from a leading automotive organization in Europe.

This free one-day seminar will be divided into 2 half-day sessions: in the morning, 5G and IoT topics will be covered, while the afternoon will focus on automotive testing.

The seminar takes place:

Time: 9:00 am - 5:10 pm

Date: Wednesday, February 21, 2018

Venue: Munich, Germany

We look forward to sharing with you our expertise on antenna testing and measurement, and connecting on a day focused on the future of automotive and wireless connectivity across industries!
