AMTA 2018 Expands Antenna Measurement Techniques in Historical Williamsburg, VA
We invite you to join us in historic Williamsburg, Virginia for the 40th anniversary of the annual AMTA Meeting and Symposium, from November 4th to the 9th. The Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) is a non-profit, international organization dedicated to the development and dissemination of theory, best practices and applications of antenna radar signature and other electromagnetic measurement technologies.
AMTA will proposes a full week of conference presentations on the latest insights and development in the antenna measurement industry. A bootcamp, a short course, and a tech tour to the renowned NASA Langley Research Center will provide attendees with a rich environment to learn from peers and experts in the field. New students and future engineers can also take advantage of Student Day organized especially for hands-on workshops with the experts.
The Boot camp brings you back to the basics with a day of antenna and related measurement fundamentals for beginners, the curious, or those who would like to refresh their knowledge.
For those in the advanced mode, this year’s Short Course introduces a hot topic in antenna measurement: New Trends in Automotive Radar & Antenna Testing and Simulation. This is your chance to boost your knowledge base and advance your projects in this domain. The course will cover a wide range of emerging topics in automotive radar testing, with Lars Foged, MVG’s Scientific Director, leading the way as instructor and specialist on the subject. Find out more at AMTA short course.
Be sure to catch up on other new insights from MVG presentations such as Power Density Measurement at 5G Millimeter-Wave Using Inverse Source Method, Plane Wave Generator for Direct Far-field Testing of Devices, Compact Antenna Measurement Range for OTA Testing of Active Antenna System Base Stations, and more. Check the technical program for the time and dates.
Last but not least, we look forward to introducing you to our new 360° video filmed at Huawei, China. Come by the MVG stand, front-center in the exhibition hall, meet our team, and take a step into the world of antenna testing in VR!
