Paris, France | February 9–13, 2026
EurAAP’s European School of Antennas (ESoA) invites engineers, researchers, and engineering students to attend the course “Combination of Simulations and Measurements in Antenna Design”, to be held near Paris, France, from February 9 to 13, 2026.
Modern antenna design relies on both numerical simulation and experimental measurement, often applied at different stages of the development process. This course focuses on how these two approaches can be effectively combined to improve design accuracy, reduce development time, and increase overall efficiency. Over five days, participants will explore methodologies that integrate simulation and measurement throughout the antenna design workflow.
About the Course
The course combines theoretical lectures with hands-on practical sessions, offering participants the opportunity to work with:
- The DDS SIMULIA (CST) electromagnetic simulation suite
- MVG multi-probe antenna measurement systems
- MVG Insight, software designed to link antenna measurement with simulation models
Instruction is provided by experts from MVG, Dassault Systèmes, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Politecnico di Torino, and Université Paris-Saclay, all of whom have extensive experience in both academic research and industrial applications of simulation-measurement integration.

This course is well suited for:
- Practicing RF and antenna engineers
- Students of electrical engineering, RF, antenna, or electromagnetics
- Researchers interested in advanced antenna design methodologies
📅 Dates: February 9–13, 2026 📍 Location: Near Paris, France
Places are limited to ensure effective interaction during practical sessions.
Early registration is recommended. The European School of Antennas (ESoA) is a geographically distributed school which aims to improve advanced training and research on antennas in Europe.
