Personal RF Safety protection monitors (PPM) are indispensable for the individuals who work with or on antennas, whose job is to install, test and maintain their operability. PPMs will alert them when EMF levels exceed RF Safety recommendations.
As with all safety tools, a periodic control of the device is crucial to ensure that it is in perfect functioning condition to guarantee the safety of workers.
This requires regular calibration.
