MVG ULTRA White Caps

The MVG ULTRA White Caps are designed to provide a protective cover of absorbers in a test chamber to protect them from accidental damage, as well as to enhance the illumination levels in the chamber.

They are primarily used in EMC test chambers with the MVG ULTRA Hybrid Absorbers (UH-xx series), but can also be used with the MVG ULTRA Broadband Absorbers (UHC-xx series), especially the UHC-75 and UHC-50TR which are often used in MIL STD 461 chambers. The MVG ULTRA White Caps are specifically designed to fit the UH-xx and UHC-xx pyramidal absorbers.

Typical Standards

The white caps are primarily used in EMC chambers, in conjunction with hybrid absorbers, and where testing is being carried out against base standards such as CISPR 16, ANSI C63.4, CISPR 25, and IEC 61000-4-3. They can also be used in chambers which are being used for MIL STD 461 and DO-160 testing, where the absorber solution could be either hybrid or broadband.
